This morning (about 10:30-12) at the Charlotte Nature Park I saw/heard
Willow Flycatcher - 1
Great Crested Flycatcher - 3
Red-eyed Vireo - 1 heard
Hermit Thrush - 2 heard
Blue Jay - 2 heard
American Crow - 3
Tufted Titmouse - 1 (immature)
Black-capped Chickadee - 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 1
American Goldfinch - 4
Cedar Waxwing - 2
Eastern Towhee - 1 (female)
Song Sparrow - 4
Northern Cardinal - 2 (male+female)
Indigo Bunting - 1 heard
Baltimore Oriole - 1 immature
Common Yellowthroat - several heard
American Robin - several
Gray Catbird - several
Eastern Wood-pewee - 1 heard
Also in early afternoon (about 1 PM) on the western side of Shelburne Point by the Shelburne Shipyard there was a raft of ~50 Common Mergansers and a separate group of 7 Common Mergansers closer in.? Also present were about 20 Double-crested Cormorants.
