While conducting the annual West Rutland butterfly count today, members of Rutland County Audubon were able to sneak peaks at a good variety of birds as well along the Pleasant St. powerline.
Tomorrow's butterfly count will be in Tinmouth. Meet at the West Rutland Price Chopper at 8:30 a.m.; bring lunch. Covert birdwatching permitted.
