As far as I can tell, a flock of 20 birds in a recently seeded but not yet
sprouted plot were American Pipits.
This is in Brownington, VT. They were movin around quickly picking up the
seeds that we spread, some into the grass, too.
My digiscoping efforts are not great, but between the pics and the field
guide, I am reasonably sure there is no other possibility.
This is a first for this property. Does this sound reasonable?
