A few things to keep in mind for this week:
1. CPR CARDS - Please have copies of cards to me no later than Friday,
Nov. 7th. You should have two cards per club and you can scan and send,
bring me a photocopy, or bring the r=original in to copy here.
2. EVENTS - If you have any remaining events for this semester that you
have yet to mention to me please do so. On the Event front we have had
a very active semester which is great to see.
3. LEADERSHIP SERIES - On Nov. 2 the first ever session is being held
on the topic of Running a meeting/practice/event. While many of you may
be adept at this, perhaps you have future leaders in your club who could
gain from this. Also, if there are topics you are interested in
learning about please let us know. Pizza and prizes will be given at
the session. More info in attachment.
4. HAZING POLICY - UVM has released a new policy on hazing. Hazing is
a really hot topic on our campus and across the country these days and
many instances involve student clubs. I have the utmost faith in our
leaders to avoid any such instances! Check out the attachment for more
details on what our school has come up with.
5. GRAD SCHOOL - anyone thinking about this should check out the flier
for an event being held at the ALANA center to help students navigate
Hope all us is well as we officially enter the second half of the
semester. A great start to the year thus far and hopefully that continues!
