In the woods in Fayston last night I heard what I thought may have been a
Saw Whet Owl Alarm call.  Has anyone ever heard one of these who could
confirm?  I am not sure why I had the idea of a Saw Whet in my head.  The
only two sound files I could find on the internet identified as Saw Whet Owl
alarm calls were at the bottom of the page that comes up at the link listed
below.  The sound I heard sounds exactly like the ones in the link.  I know
that they are nocturnal, actually do some migrating around now, and I
believe I have heard one in the same woods once before in March, during
breeding season, doing the usual breeding call.

Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
