Took the family to try and relocate the Rusty Blackbirds at Brilyea access 
today and as I drove up to the opening to the farm field Carol said; "what's 
that in the bush ?" Rusty Blackbirds, we spent the next 20 minute or so 
watching 7 birds move around the area from bush to tree top and back. They 
were joined by 12 Redwing Blackbirds for awhile.

Wood Duck  3
Snow Goose  1 swimming in and out of the reeds just off the road

Snow Geese   3500 +
Rough-legged Hawk  1
European Starling   100's  flying around looking like a cloud of blackbirds
A. Crow 27  flying south?
