Bird Trip to Tomhannock Resevoir      On Saturday, November 2, migrating ducks, geese and raptors will the target of a bird trip to the Tomhannock Resevoir located on Rt 7 between Bennington, VT and Troy, NY.   To register please contact The Vermont Bird Place & Skywatch, www.thevermontbirdplace.com at 362-2270.   Carpools will leave at 8:30 from the VT Bird Place in  Manchester Center and at 9 am from the car park area just to the west of the Arlington Route 7 exit on the north side of the access road to Route 7.    The event is weather dependent so registration is important.  
 
 
Additionally, the monthly census of birds at Hildene in Manchester will take place, Saturday, November 8 meeting at the Visitors' Center parking lot at 8am.
