We are running Oracle Calendar 10.1.2.4.5 now, so SyncML v3 is fine to use.

Subject: SyncML Suggestion
I've been using SyncML to sync my calendar to many different devices for years now... starting way back on a Palm Treo 650 and graduating through WM5 Smartphones, to WM6 Pro. Soon, hopefully tomorrow, my WM6.1 Pro phone will come in, so I'm evaluating the software and getting it ready to be loaded when the phone arrives.
I have had very little problems with SyncML, but I know some people have. This problem had to do with when Synthesis upgraded from 2.5 - 3.x. The solution, of course, was to stick with v2.5. Synthesis's web site states this:
Oracle OCS Users please note that OCS supports the 3.0 client officially only after OCS patch 6142705 / Oracle Calendar Application System Patch 10.1.2.4.2. is installed. For OCS systems which do not have this patch installed yet, you can still use 3.0 clients, but with minor degradation in the way all-day events and attendees are handled. Alternatively, the previous 2.5.0.69 version can be used in the meantime My question is, is it still recommended that we use version 2.5 when connecting SyncML to our Oracle Calendar? Or, should the 3.0.2.x work without issues?
Thanks!
