Judging from my computer being up to date now I'd say off campus works just
fine without needing to VPN. ;) I think Greg said that the computer checks
the license status every time nod32 updates.

Will computers off-campus have to connect to UVM by VPN in order to pick
up the new license or will they get it automatically?
Thanks,
Lisa

Subject: ESET NOD32 license renewed
With less than 24 hours remaining before our NOD32 license expired, we
have obtained and installed a replacement license file on our management
server. Updated license and update mirror username/password information
is being handed out to clients as they connect to our management server.
No action should be required on your part to resolve the "license
expiration" warnings on your workstations.
My apologies are extended to the community for any confusion or concern
that may have resulted from these NOD32 license warnings. We will do
our best to ensure that license renewal occurs in a more timely fashion
next year. These 11th-hour rescues are not fun for anyone.
