Subject: Medical Trip to Ecuador/Global Health group on campus
Hello All,
I thought there might be some students interested in UVM MEDLIFE. I
traveled with the group to Ecuador last year and have been involved
since.
UVM MEDLIFE is a new student group focused on global health. The
group's activities include raising money for medical care for
low-income Ecuadorians and a for building a medical clinic in Cebadas,
Ecuador. The group will also spend time learning about current issues
in global health as well as raising awareness of these concerns around
campus and the Burlington community. In addition, group members have
the opportunity to travel to Ecuador on a medical brigade over the UVM
spring break. We will be looking for interested trip participants
soon. Please get in contact with me before midnight on December 18th
if this trip interests you. For more information on the group and
trip, visit medlifeweb.org and attend a UVM chapter meeting, Tuesday
evenings at 8pm in the Living and Learning Commons 216 or contact me
at [log in to unmask]
Come to a Tuesday night meeting in L/L Commons 216 at 8pm to find out
more about this opportunity!
Also, look for us in the Vermont Prudent Student Calendar. For more
information on the calendar join The Vermont Prudent Student Calendar
