I am in contact with the student president of the undergraduate chemistry
society at Rutgers University. He just asked me for some suggestions for
programs that they could sponsor. I suggested of the top of my head, Michio
Kaku, who does a science show on WBAI in New York. He asked me for more
idea of topics/speakers.
They can also sponsor joint events with the physics, molecular biology and
biochemistry undergraduates, which means they could hold events with
substantial numbers of students and others attending.
Since all scientists who are socialists or socialists who are scientists
have interesting ideas by definition, :) , I thought I would turn to this
list for suggestions.
I would appreciate your thoughts on topics that students could organize or
speakers that they could invite. If you know the person, I would appreciate
contact information as well.
Please write soon,
