Would these problems affect web access to shared active directory space?

For example.. we have a link in ResLife to a few html pages for staff 
members that are in our department active directory space:

https://webfiles.uvm.edu/shared/reslife/AST/Web/Intranet/overview.html

And this morning these pages are not accessible anymore.
