Hi-

Apple has release a public beta of Safari 4.  It looks interesting and  
does run more quickly than previous versions.  However, it also hangs  
hard on such "exotic" sites as www.cnn.com

Luckily Apple was wise enough to provide an uninstaller with the  
download that restores your previous version of Safari.

But overall, I'd advise waiting for a few more beta iterations before  
trying to play with it.  Especially if you actually need to get any  
work done.
