Thanks for all the feedback thus far re: smartphones.
Next question: what about Verizon voice/data plans? I've been quite
disappointed with how uneven Verizon's pricing appears to be. One of
my employee's plans runs about $75.00 a month, and he came over from
ETS with it. However, the best we can get for what we think is the
same number of minutes and unlimited data is around $85.00 a month.
I don't dare question this with Verizon because the end result of
doing so usually results in Verizon raising the lower rate as a
We've also tried going with "pay as you go" data plans on the phones
that we use data on intermittently. This results in some big bills
during certain months but much lower ones over the majority.
However, if we go with Blackberries, does the data usage go up to the
point where unlimited is the right choice regardless?
And lastly, how much are people paying month for their smartphone
plans? For comparison's sake we're at 550 minutes and unlimited data
and we're paying about $85.00 a month per phone.
