I agree with Lucie on the Zoom (we have a few H4s but the H2s look great) - whatever you get make sure you are aware of what format they record in - we have a few Olympus DS-30 recorders which are great but they record in .WMA. Since Audacity does not work with .WMA files, they have to first be converted with iTunes or another program if you want to edit them. The Zoom recorders will record in .WAV or .MP3 which makes them easier to throw into Audacity.

A small portable digital recording device. Something with decent quality for doing podcasts, etc. Pretty decent space allocations.. something that allows for recording a keynote or presentation.
