I got out birding this afternoon for the first time in a week. I stopped at
the Muddy Brook marsh for a half hour and picked out 3 RW Blackbirds, an
American Robin, three crows, and a pair of Mallards apparently setting up
housekeeping there. While loafing at the pull off I was rewarded by seeing 62 Snow
Geese flying overhead.
Moving west, I spotted a Northern Harrier (male) foraging over the fields at
the corner of Dorset St. and Cheesefactory Road.
