I've been working on a graphical revamp of the website. This will
include graphics to be associated with the "class" for comments, the
"class" for content-titles (that is, the title of each page), a
graphic scheme for the nav bar, and a graphic scheme for the "class"
associated with posts. Also, I'm trying to work on a light-weight
graphic to make the background (outside of the site) more appealing.
I'm also trying to write a little php script (i'd rather do it in perl
but this would require us to symbolically link to UVM's cgi-bin --
which I'd rather avoid) that will take posts and automatically place a
<!--more --> tag after 'x' characters have been added. This way we can
guarantee that posts do not overflow their div containers. I suppose
we could just make each div variable height but I'm not sure I'd like
to do that.
* The written proposal for funding is finished and attached. PLEASE
comment before I submit it to Professor Skalka for mandatory review
(required by CEMS)
* Also, I was doing some research on parts for the server and couldn't
find a dual-socket mobo for AMD's AM3 line processors.
Awesome work with the changes, Jake. Keep on rocking the socks. Cheers!
