Hello all-
Just wondering if people are still using the diagnostic criteria for arterial duplex that has >50% stenosis being 100% increase in velocity when compared with the proximal non diseased segment. < 50% as being less than 100%. Is anyone out there quantifying stenosis categories >75%? I have seen some articles recently that seem to be promoting just <50%, and > 50%.....

Subject: RESPONSE Cross posting from SDMS, re new limited registry for venous
Good morning to all Flownet participants,
CCI is in the initial stages of working with the American College of Phlebology to develop a sonographer registry for chronic venous ultrasound.
The survey that some of you answered was very broad based regarding this field. CCI is ANSI credentialed so certain standards must be followed to validate any testing process.
Those of you who work in the chronic venous insufficiency field realize that venous disease is very complex as is the treatment.
We welcome your thoughts and input on this subject. I and others will update you with correct information as we progress in this process. This registry will not weaken the RVS and RVT credential.
