Our family was thrilled during dinner this evening to watch a young Pine
Siskin exhibiting begging behavior at our feeder... and ultimately
getting fed by an adult.  

How great that these guys decided to stay with us here in Vermont
through their breeding season. Yes, they ate me out of house and home
this winter too, but they're great birds.
