This morning at Red Rocks Park in South Burlington I saw good numbers
of warblers including:
1 TENNESSEE WARBLER
2 Nashville
5 Black-throated Blue
5-6 Pine
20+ Yellow-rumped
The Tennessee was along the trail past the 2nd (larger) lake overlook
with hand railings. While I was birding this area a PEREGRINE FALCON
buzzed the cliffs. Other migrants seen included:
Blue-headed Vireo (1)
House Wren (2)
Hermit Thrush (2)
Great-crested Flycatcher (1)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (dozens)
White-throated Sparrow (dozens, most in a single flock along the
entrance road)
Also residents including both nuthatches, Downy, Hairy, Pileated
Woodpeckers, Northern Flicker, and others.
