Greetings OCAS members and supporters:
Marsh, Meadow, and Grassland Wildlife Walk - A Monthly Field Event in
OCAS and Middlebury Area Land Trust invite you to join us for a monthly walk
at Otter View Park and the Hurd Grassland.
We will observe birds and other wildlife while enjoying the marsh, meadow
and grasslands of these two special natural areas. All walks are led by
knowledgeable naturalists and all levels of experience are welcome!
The Marsh, Meadow, and Grassland Walks are an important opportunity for
volunteers of all ages and abilities to engage in "citizen science." With
your help, over time we will be able to contribute to the database of bird
activity in the area.
Join us for the next walk on Thursday, May 14, 8 a.m - 11 a.m. Otter View
Meet at the parking area of Otter View Park (intersection of Weybridge St
and Pulp Mill Bridge Rd). Shorter and longer routes possible. The primary
walking path at OVP is universally accessible. The boardwalk is ADA
