This evening there was 1 Solitary Sandpiper wading in a shallow pool in front 
of the water treatment plant on Rt. 30. Behind the plant there were 7 Spotted 
Sandpipers grouped together on the end of a mud flat in the West River. A 
2nd year Bald Eagle also made an appearance flying low over the river.
