We had 11 people join us for our second walk of the month at Hildene
here in Manchester yesterday.
Great birding activity behind the main house in the orchard with some
wonderful views of Eastern Bluebirds and the Chestnut-sided Warbler.
The highlight of the day was the concerted effort of all 11 birders
and their binoculars finally spotting the Yellow-throated Vireo that
was heard calling and particularly good at hiding behind leaves. That
sighting makes 113 species on the property.
Our next walk will be June 20th.
