Location: Wallis Farmhouse 882 VT 100 S, Moretown
Observation date: 5/3/09
Notes: A quick survey of the yard then a walk into the woods behind
the house on the Harwood path network. Highlights were 3 Hermits all
seen in different locations, and a Cooper's Hawk that flew right past us
then disappeared into the trees. Amazing how fast he flew and didn't hit
a tree! We never did spot either a Winter Wren or the Vireo or Creepers.<br>

P.S. If you haven't to the the Tea Store or Artisan's Gallery in
Waitsfield to see the
bird theme artistry ... take a few moments to do so! The paintings are
awesome and Abby Dreyer's ceramic bird houses are simply amazing ...
elegant one of a kind signature pieces and thoughtfully created to clean
with ease!
