On Saturday I went down to Herrick's Cove with my family. While birding 
in the field on the right side of the entrance road before the parking 
lot we came across a sparrow that seemed different. It had a large, long 
bill, yellow wash on the face, heavy streaking across the chest and 
sides. The throat was white, as was the stomach.
