Partially driven by the friendly competitive spirit engendered by the E-Bird 
top 100 feature, I hiked Chipman Hill in Middlebury this morning and picked 
up 8 FOY birds*. I'm currently ranked #5 with 105 species reported in 2009. 
This brings my total to 113 species which is good enough to tie for first, 
but I'm sure others up on that list are birding today too, so...
