A couple items, first from Herrick's Cove yesterday, after the
festival was over:
This green heron was a lot of fun to watch: it heavily into mating
behavior so it was standing on the branches and swaying back and
forth in a very rhythmic motion. Never seen that before.

This morning, I got some great looks at a Yellow Warbler at the
Springfield Boat Launch.

While I was there I tried to photograph a couple blue-grey
gnatcatchers that were hanging out as well, but all the photographs I
got were pretty awful.
So on the way home I stopped off again this afternoon. While looking
for the gnatcatchers again, I managed to accidentally find a
black-and-white warbler:

Finally, one of the gnatcatchers came in pretty close. Not only did
I get a photograph of it, I got a photo of it gathering nesting
material:

Also, on the way up to Springfield this morning I swung by Missing
Link Access area. I didn't have much time, but I did get very
audible calls from a black-throated blue warbler. There were others,
but the BT-Blue is the only one I was able to ID from sound. I had
no visuals on anything at Missing Link, but given the gnatcatcher
photo, I don't think I should complain :)

We've heard that a million monkeys at a million
keyboards could produce the Complete Works of
Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know
this is not true.
