Brattleboro is on the way home from Manchester to Woodstock, right?  The bar-headed goose was in a ploughed field on the N side of the West River, feeding serenely with several Canadas, this afternoon.

  Bar-headed goose remains with Canadas at Retreat Meadows in Brattleboro. M  
  and F rose-breasted grosbeaks are back. M and F red-bellied  woodpeckers, 
  black and white warblers in Hinsdale, NH. Also 3 mockingbirds  chasing one 
  another around a yard and feeding at suet feeder in Hinsdale. Two  black 
  vultures soaring over Western Avenue in Brattleboro.
