This morning:
Gage Road...unfortunately, no Grasshopper Sparrows or Upland Sandpipers, but
lots of Bobolinks, Meadowlarks, and Savannah Sparrows about.
Snake Mountain trailhead (Mountain Road)...1 male GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER
Wilmarth Woods (1/4 mile further up the trail from the GWWA)...1 male
CERULEAN WARBLER in the same location as in previous years.
Also seen and heard at the base of Snake Mountain...Eastern Towhee, Wood
Thrush, Black-throated Blue Warbler, American Redstart, Chesnut-sided
Warbler, Black-and-White Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Common Yellowthroat,
Scarlet Tanager, Red-eyed Vireo, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, among others.
