I have a couple of tidbits to toss in the pile. Shoot them down please:
1) I've seen several machines, including two of our own, which were
running just fine until we touched the ESET Gui (checked version and
definition number). Then they froze soon after. Not a solution, but
perhaps a clue to where the issue lies?
2) Machines that aren't affected appear to be those that were not
turned on at all yesterday. However, Geoff already popped this
particular balloon for me; his machine wasn't running at all yesterday
but is exhibiting symtoms.
