only thing i'd say about this is a) the beckworth article going after alford of rice u (with a history of non-pc-isms, as a start) obviously was countered by alford himself (or james fowler of uc davis) so these issues haven 't changed since the 70's (and molecular genetics probably is not really involved while the eea (equal environmnents) is pretty hard to test (and actuAlly john hawks on his blog had a good post dissing one alford paper---though he also is associated with harpending/rogers stuff. but i guess you get a new journal to sell to libraries (a la chaos, solitons, fractALS); b) i wonder how you'd organize a new sftp (apart from a wine and cheese rub shoulders conference) when, for example you have r maNN promoting religion on this site.
