I am once again in the process of planning the LEGO Engineering
Conference and I want to invite you and all of your colleagues to join
me. The conference will be held at the Woodstock Union Middle/High
School in Woodstock, VT on October 22nd. This is a very hands-on
conference in which participants learn about the LEGO Mindstorms
Software while working through a series of building and programming
challenges. In addition, experienced teachers will run workshops that
focus on how to integrate LEGOs into your classroom or after-school
program. Professor Elsa Gramire from Dartmouth College's Thayer
School of Engineering will also give the keynote address. Her talk
will focus on the importance of teaching engineering in K-12 education
and the power of project-based technology learning experiences to
increase student learning.
For those of you that are interested in attending, an informational
flyer and registration form are attached to this e-mail. If you are
not interested in attending, please help me by passing along
information to someone that might be.
Finally, I am still looking for a couple presenters. Please let me
know if you are interested and I can send you more information.
Thank you and have a wonderful weekend,
