I'd prefer top-down scrolling windows; have scalable contexts (multiple
window groups to scroll through), and persistent contexts (like
date/time/weather, audio/display/network, status/notification).
It would be reasonable to reduce to using only three or four fingers

The major issue for developing in it as an environment that it limits
the interface of applications to one finger; which kind of stifles
multi-touch innovation on the application level.
