I saw my first American Tree Sparrow of the fall at Otter View Park in
Middlebury yesterday evening. I was just looking at the VT Ebird map for the
species and it's interesting to see how they have dropped into the state
mostly over the past week.
Also some big Blackbird movement going on as well. I had a great up-close
look at a Rusty Blackbird hiding in the brush next to the Park's boardwalk.
