November 2nd becomes the latest Vermont record for Yellow Warbler,
according to eBird. Good find!
Prior to Peter's sighting, my son Spencer had the latest eBird record of
October 19th (last year, also at Brilyea). This was 11 days later than
Lane Vargas' 2006 sighting at Dead Creek on Oct. 8th.
The eBird database indicates that a Bennington County sighting on Sep.
16, 1988 was the latest until the 2006 record.
Interesting to ponder the confounding effects of more eBird users and
changing climate...
