After an absence at our feeders of about a year, a Red-bellied Woodpecker
has returned. I've seen it three times since 10/18, including this
morning. Also seen for the first time this season, a junco on 10/30. We
are also seeing several R-W Blackbirds at day at our feeders and I've been
hearing their spring trills almost daily over the past several weeks. I
don't recall hearing all this song in the past. Is it unusual or have I
just not been aware of it?
