Walden has been using F-Prot antivirus (www.f-prot.com) for years -
works well, inexpensive - particularly with educational/nonprofit
discounts (for Windows:
For education, first 14 licenses are $50 (total); licenses 15-50 are $3
each (so 50 licenses, 1 year: 50+3x36=$158). Per PC license costs drop
to $2.25 for licenses 51-100, $1.50 for 101-2500.
Home use prices: $29 annual license for up to 5 PCs.
I've set up updates to be handled through our Windows 2003 server so
only the server needs to download the updates which are then used by
individual PCs on the network.
