We use a google calendar to schedule our computer lab and library spaces.
We have a calendar for each space layered in one view. We have this up on
our website for teachers to check availability, then they email myself or
the librarian to sign out a space. We deliberately made the calendar "view
only" to ensure conversations about collaboration opportunities, project
ideas and space use.
With multiple calendars layered on each other, it is pretty busy, but with
the option for people to hide layers, they are able to see only the space
they want.
