Addison Rutland Supervisory Union (Fair Haven, Castleton, Benson, Orwell) uses Scott Foresman-Addison Wesley, Middle School Math, 2002, at the 7th and 8th grade levels. We matched each lesson to the GEs, and filled in the gaps with other materials. At Castleton, we have 80 classes, 5 days a week, so we are able to develop lessons in a variety of ways.
We also offer to a select group of 8th grade students the same honors algebra course that FHUHS offers. We give the same mid term and final.

Subject: [MLMATHNET] texts and curriculum
Randolph Union's middle level math instructors are wondering what others in Vermont are using for acurriculum and/or text series. They're looking for a standards-based gr. 6 - 8 program to prepare students for NECAPS and other assessments, and for the high school experience. The high school uses Math Connections and the Discovering... series and has a full slate of AP courses(both levels of calculus and statistics).
