I would also add to the list of books to consider: AbuRahma / Bergan "Noninvasive Vascular Diagnosis" 2nd Edition. A very thorough review of cerebrovascular topics, including plaque characterization

You should have these books in your personal library: Zwiebel, Introduction to Vascular Ultrasonography, 5th ed., and Strandness/Zierler, Duplex Scanning in Vascular Disorders. They have what you're looking for.

I'm having a hard time familiarizing myself with all of the different types
of carotid plaques. Can someone point me in the direction of a good
article, website or text that goes into specific detail on plaque morphology
and consistency? Preferably with examples.
