works with most versions of windows up to but not including 7 (windows 7
testing has not been completed. 64-bit OS not working on USB but fine on
Bluetooth), and OSX up to but not including Snow leopard. There are
third-party applications as well.
Changing devices would be like asking a mac user to try a PC instead.
It's not the optimal choice.

Subject: Re: PDA to sync with Oracle Calendar
Well yes, however remember that the Palm device depends on Palm desktop
for synchronization between Oracle and the Palm, and backup, etc.
Palm Desktop is incompatible with the most recent versions of MacOS and
Windows, I believe. So, you may be able to replace the device
indefinitely with ebay hardware, but the software is going to be
unusable in the near future.
The future of calendar sync appears to be syncML so the trick would be
to find a device that supports syncml without a cell phone data plan.
The ipod touch with Synthesis's calendaring app is probably the best
compromise solution available at this point.

check out ebay. There are lots of palm pilots for sale there, some new,
some used, some very cheap.
