Well, it's the "bit of fiddling" that I'm not willing to support on a large scale.
Let's also not forget that the version of Oracle calendar we're running is also obsolete, along with the calendar sync conduits, etc.
Feel free to run it till it dies, but please make sure that you have a migration plan ready to implement when it does.
