What: Meeting with Mathematician, Dr. Andrew Odlyzko

Jonathan Sands, of the Department of Mathematics at the University of
Vermont, has cordially invited the CSSA and Math Club to meet with
University of Minnesota scientist, mathematician, and Phi Beta Kappa
scholar, Dr. Andrew Odlyzko.
*Topics and Areas*
Dr. Odlyzko's expertise range across the topics and areas of
computational complexity, cryptography, number theory, combinatorics,
coding theory, analysis, probability theory, communications, security,
electronic commerce, and beyond.
If you are interested in attending, it would be great if you can give
me the heads up so I can help ensure there is enough food for
everyone. As the event draws closer, I'll send out a confirmation email.
*Other Upcoming Events*
Dr. Odlyzko will also be giving a talk entitled, "How to live and
prosper with insecure cyberinfrastructure" on April 6, 2010 in the
Davis Center Livak Ballroom from 4:00-5:00 pm. All are invited.
