I have recently taken the supervisory role for the tech dept at the hartford
school district and I am updating our operations manual. I would like to
request if your willing to share any information you may have concerning how
the communication protocols are handled within your district between tech
staff and teaching staff.
How do you handle sensitive issues ? How do you handle teacher requests for
goods and services ? What is the approval process ? How do you handle
requests to websites that are normally blocked due to content ? We use a
helpdesk method, phone and email system to support approx. 1200 users and
pc's for a 3 man team handling all tech related issues.
I would be truely greatful if you could rip a page from your manual and help me
resolve this delicate issue.
