One thing I would ask people to do as soon as possible is to remove from registration any teams that you are not planning to take. I assume that some folks entered a couple of 'possible' teams that are not going to make the trek. If that is the case, please clear those teams from registration. I am going to set a march 30 deadline for registration.
I am excited to take on this tournament and we are deep in the planning and implementation stages. The idea of finding 20+ hired BP judges in NPDA country is a bit overwhelming but we are making good progress. The hotel is filling. The competition rooms are secure. The break party and coaches dinner is all set. Trophies have been ordered. Meal catering is in the works. As I type this , Denver is getting pounded by a blizzard of epic proportions but I suspect that April will bring us beautiful spring weather.
Tomorrow begins four days of drinking and skiing with our Irish debate guests after which I return to my full-time job as tournament director.
Get yourself out to Denver, we are looking forward to putting on a show.
