Notes: Large flock of Wild Turkey on North Street farm meadow. Two
males observed displaying.

Notes: Most of the lake still frozen except at the north end where
stream input enters.

Observation date: 3/18/10
Notes: In spite of strong westerly winds with little northerly impetus
there was evidence of some northerly migration, including 8 skeins of
Canada Geese, varying in size from 4 to 75; a large flock of 120 blackbirds
estimated with an even split between Common Grackles and Red-winged
Blackbirds; also a separate group of 36 Common Grackle and two loose flocks of
American Crows.. Red-tailed Hawks observed thermalling, in one case with a
Cooper's Hawk.
