We observed the ivory gull this afternoon atop a piling on the Vermont side of the channel. Although we first spotted it from the Vermont side of the lake, we had a better vantage point from which to observe it from the marina on the NY side.  This was from 2:30 - 4:00, with a quick trip to see the northern hawk owl during that time period.
