Yesterday afternoon the wetlands on both sides of the Sandbar Causeway were literally crawling with ducks, geese, and RW Blackbirds. Most of the ducks were Mallards and American Black Ducks, but I did spot a few pairs of GW Teal and Wood Ducks. There may well be others. For example, I have seen American Wigeon and Gadwall nearby. Also, a mature Bald Eagle was harassing the birds just to be ornery. If you go you are better off if you stay in your car. If you walk along the causeway the birds will usually spook.
