Hi Jeannie, I love my little Nikon Travelite V binos, which I use for my yard birding. They are compact, lightweight, and cost around $125 many years ago. I don't know if they are still made, but you might take a look.

Subject: [VTBIRD] Any suggestions for a pair of Compact Binoculars for Biking?

Hi all:
I am looking for recommendations on a compact binocular to use to bird while
iking. I will be using it for a daily 20 mile bike commute and also some
ike touring. I envision having it on an elastic shoulder harness. My
rice range is around $100.
Thanks.
Jeannie Elias
