Hello, all -- Our HR department has been overhauling all their policies.
There is some discussion about the best way to provide employee access to
these policies. We currently have a database of all hospital policies,
which allows for linking and cross-referencing of documents. HR wants to
publish theirs as a single PDF "manual," with a linked table of contents.
So my question to you, just as a "convenience sample," is:
How do employees look up / access Human Resources policies at your
organization?
Print handbook / manual?
Online handbook / manual - e.g., one document with all policies in it? In
this case, how do users navigate to the specific policy / content they need?
Individual policies posted on a website / teamsite / intranet?
Other?
Thanks!! This will just give us some examples to consider.
